Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Free Trial Period

ABA Study Companion offers a 7-day free trial for all new accounts. During this trial period:

• You have full, unrestricted access to all platform features, including practice exams, mock exams, study tools, daily challenges, flashcards, mastery quizzes, and all other content.
• No credit card or payment information is required to start or use the free trial.
• You may cancel at any time during the trial with no obligation and no charge.
• The trial is designed to give you a complete and thorough evaluation of the product before any financial commitment.

2. Subscription & Payment

After your free trial expires, you will be prompted to subscribe to continue using the platform. By providing your payment information and subscribing, you:

• Acknowledge that you have already had a full 7-day trial to evaluate the product at no cost.
• Confirm that you are voluntarily choosing to pay for continued access to the service.
• Agree to the recurring billing terms of your selected plan (monthly or 4-month access).
• Understand that payment constitutes acceptance of these terms, including the no-refund policy described below.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the following methods:

• Self-Service: Navigate to your Profile page and click "Manage Subscription" to access the billing portal where you can cancel immediately.
• Email: Contact us at [email protected] to request cancellation.

Upon cancellation:

• Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.
• You will not be charged for any subsequent billing periods.
• No partial refunds are issued for the remaining time in your current billing period.

4. Refund Policy

Because every user receives a 7-day free trial with full access and no payment required, all charges made after the trial period are considered final. This policy exists because:

• You had the opportunity to fully evaluate the product before paying.
• No credit card was required during the trial, eliminating accidental charges.
• Subscribing required an affirmative, voluntary action — entering payment information and confirming purchase — after the trial expired.
• Digital educational content cannot be "returned" once accessed.

Exceptions: Refunds may be considered at our sole discretion in cases of verified technical issues that prevented access to the service for an extended period. Such requests must be submitted within 7 days of the charge in question.

5. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

By subscribing to ABA Study Companion, you agree that:

• You will not file a chargeback, payment dispute, or claim with your bank or credit card company for any subscription charges made after your free trial period.
• If you are dissatisfied with the service, you will use the cancellation process described in Section 3 above rather than filing a dispute.
• Filing a chargeback or dispute after using the service constitutes a breach of this agreement and may be considered friendly fraud.

In the event a chargeback or dispute is filed, we reserve the right to:

• Contest the dispute by submitting comprehensive evidence of account usage, login history, study activity, and acceptance of these terms.
• Suspend or terminate the associated account immediately.
• Pursue recovery of the disputed amount plus any fees incurred as a result of the fraudulent dispute.
• Report the incident to applicable fraud prevention databases.

Our platform maintains detailed server-side records of all user activity, including login timestamps, exam sessions, questions answered, study time, and feature usage. This data is not modifiable by users and serves as evidence in any dispute proceedings.

6. How to Resolve Billing Issues

If you have a concern about a charge, we strongly encourage you to contact us directly before contacting your bank or credit card company. We are committed to resolving billing issues promptly and fairly.

7. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account and/or subscribing to ABA Study Companion, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Cancellation & Refund Policy. Your continued use of the platform after any updates to this policy constitutes acceptance of those changes.
